Southern Supper, 'Buffet & Blues’ events pair a set menu, served buffet style, with live music. We are honoured, and blessed, to have working relationships, with some of the most highly acclaimed musicians, both, locally, and internationally, grace our stage. Most of the music, which we book, is blues, or ‘American Roots’. Some other genres of music, which we book is New Orleans jazz, soul, rockabilly, country, bluegrass, gospel, and folk.

The standard format, for these, Southern Supper events, is that the buffet opens at 5:00, and the music gets started at 5:30. There are three sets, for the live music, as follows: 5:30-6:15; 6:30-7:15, and 7:30-8:15.
These are not ticketed events. However, reservations are required, and can be made, at the time most convenient, for your group, to arrive. Reservations are required, so that we are able to manage the food service, within the buffet, insuring food is kept hot, and fresh, and prepared as we know our guests are arriving. Please note our regular menu is not available, for ordering, during these events.
We do have limited seating in the live music room, and those seats are available, on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. We also seat our restaurant dining room side, for those folks, who would prefer to not sit close to the band; prefer to talk with other table guests; or, have the music in the ‘background. Please note the music is not as loud, on the restaurant side. The door adjoining each room, remains opened, during the event. The buffet service tables are set up in the restaurant dining room. Please be sure to reserve your table early, to ensure you preferred spot.
We are also able to accommodate large groups, for Southern Supper events. Our live music event space can accommodate 60 seated guests, and we are able to accommodate 25 seated guests, on the restaurant side, at the same time of a buffet service set up.
We do have a side, field, parking lot, which is able to accommodate ‘party buses’, and large vehicle parking. Please note we are unable to accommodate any overnight parking, or camping. If you plan to arrive, in an oversized vehicle, which will require special parking, please do reach out to us, several days, in advance, of the event, and let us know, so we are able to secure space for you.

We're also offering our MARDI GRAS KING CAKES that day, for $45 each. Each cake provides approximately 10-12 servings, and has a small, plastic baby inserted after baking, in the New Orleans tradition. Cakes are topped with a fondant icing, and finished with sanding sugars, in the traditional Mardi Gras colours, of purple, green, and gold.
Cakes come in a windowed cake box, with Mardi Gras motif, which makes them excellent for gifting, or enjoying for yourself.
